The Manor House
Stamford - Lincolnshire
The Manor House is a quintessentially British 16th Century house built entirely from stone. The exterior ground level sits just below the kitchen worktop height adding an intensity to the space whilst creating an interesting lighting dynamic. This resulted in a dimly lit, beautifully dramatic space. We used Walnut for the freestanding island and the cabinet interiors. The island had a bullnosed royale quartz worktop to make it a focal point of the room. An enormous antique dresser was to stay in its home within the kitchen adding a warm charm to the interior.
